I serve as the Creative Designer for Expat Society, which is a vibrant members club for young expats in Los Angeles. I work in creating the brand language that defines our social presence and live event experience. I ideate and produce high-quality graphics for announcements, programming, and internal communications, keeping everything cohesive across platforms and touch points.

SOMA // poster design
this was a members-only experience with the theme relying heavily on patterns and scenes from the Amazon rainforest. The bug as the centre of the graphic came about after a log of experimentation and was the right decision because I wanted to highlight the smaller, darker side of a rainforest. I wanted to really capture the different textures found in those environments whilst also keeping it minimal. That is why I experimented a lot with the colors and different textures for the background and for the bug itself.
RONDA // poster design + production design
"RONDA" was our first flagship event for the fall. Flagship events are usually larger events with capacity reaching around 500 attendees. RONDA as an event was inspired by the art of bullfighting, more specifically, embracing the more regal side of the sport. I wanted the colors and typography to be inspired by country where it originated which is why I chose to mimic the Spanish flag's color scheme coupled with a royal font. The decision to have the final poster be posted on a wall was to give a bit of a hyper-realistic element to this otherwise more animated design to add more dimension. I also assisted with the set up for this event, which included lighting work and designing the bullfighting projections on the back of the stage to another level to DJ stage.
